Soil structure
Supports the formation of a more favourable soil structure and rooting environment.
PFC 3(B) - Inorganic Soil Improver
A soil improver based on active water-soluble humic and fulvic acids, developed to maintain and restore favourable soil properties. Made in Bulgaria under licence of European patent EP3135655.

ProtoHumiX® is one product with two separate certified functions: soil improver and non-microbial plant biostimulant.
ProtoHumiX® is an EU fertilising product whose function is to improve soil properties and the conditions in the root zone. Its role is to support the soil environment, not to stand in as a direct replacement for base fertilisation.
PFC 3(B) is the category for inorganic soil improvers under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009.
Supports the formation of a more favourable soil structure and rooting environment.
Contributes to retaining soil moisture and using it more evenly.
Supports the natural processes involved in forming and retaining humus.
Creates more favourable conditions for the natural biological processes in the soil.
Supports the chemical stability and buffering capacity of the soil.
Under suitable soil conditions it may help limit the mobility of certain heavy metals and toxic elements.
ProtoHumiX® is diluted with chlorine-free water and applied evenly to the soil according to the crop, the soil condition, the current label and the agronomist’s recommendation.
1000 ml ProtoHumiX® in 300 l of water
The treated area and the number of applications are set by the current label and the individual agronomic plan.

Humic substance and acid contents are expressed on a dry matter basis; the acids are free, active and water-soluble. These concentrations and pH follow section 3.3 of the safety data sheet (page 6). For a given batch, follow the label and the accompanying documentation.
Full technical specificationNo. The soil improver’s function is to support soil properties. Any change to a fertilisation programme should follow a soil analysis and an agronomist’s recommendation.
The period after harvest and before the next sowing or planting is suitable, aligned with cultivation work and the agronomic plan.
The product has been assessed for use in organic production under the accompanying confirmation. See the conditions on the Organic farming page.
